Brotherhood across the border
Two operators, one from the Netherlands and one from Belgium, standing with their backs together while the building sits between them. Between the two of them there is no direction left that nobody is looking at.
The design was made with the Belgian special forces community rather than about them, and that is the reason it reads right to the people who do this work.
Covering every angle starts with trusting the man behind you
Standing back to back is not a pose, it is the fastest way for two people to see everything at once. One man takes the half in front of him and nothing else, and he can only do that because he knows the other half is already covered. The moment either of them turns around to check, the whole thing falls apart.
You do not turn around to check. That is the entire point.
That is why it works as an image for two armies that train together. Dutch and Belgian units have worked side by side for decades, on exercises and on deployment, and the trust that makes a formation like this possible does not stop at a border on a map.
The design is worn by operators from both countries, by the people who trained with them, and by anyone who understands that the person behind you is the reason you can do your job at all.

- 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester Brushed Fleece 270 gsm. This hoodie is true to size. It has a slightly baggy fit at the arms. Our model is 187cm and wears XL.
- T-shirt
- 100% Cotton. (Sports Grey: 90% Cotton / 10% Viscose) 200 gsm. Regular-fit. Our model is 185cm and wears size L. When in doubt between two sizes we recommend taking the larger size.
- Sizes
- XS to 3XL, in 7 colourways.
- Care
- Wash max 30°C. Wash inside out. To keep the best quality we do not recommend the tumble dryer..
- Delivery
- Around 3 to 5 working days to prepare, then a track and trace code. Worldwide, free from 75 euro.

Where is the print, on the front or the back?
The illustration sits large across the back, with only the small Trace logo on the chest at the front. The design is meant to be read from behind, the way you would actually see it.
Which colours and sizes does it come in?
The hoodie comes in black, charcoal, olive, heather grey, white. The t-shirt comes in black, dark shadow, olive, heather grey, sand, white. Sizes run from XS up to 3XL.
Who is the second operator in the print?
One is Dutch and one is Belgian. The design came out of working with the Belgian special forces community, which is why both nations stand in it rather than one.
Is there a flag of this design?
Not of this one. Back to Back exists as a hoodie and a t-shirt, in five colourways between them.
Made for the hours nobody counts
The hoodie is a 270 gsm brushed fleece, heavy enough to be a real layer instead of a thin sweatshirt that gives up after one winter. The t-shirt is 200 gsm cotton with a print that does not shine through from the inside.
Thirty degrees, inside out, no tumble dryer. Do that and the print outlasts the season you bought it in.
