Light Infantry Hoodie and T-Shirt
The only light thing about light infantry is the name
Light describes the vehicles, not the load. Everything the team needs goes on the back, and the miles start where the road stops.

The boots that close the distance
The illustration is a soldier under a full load, drawn the way he actually stands after a few hours under it: leaning forward, weight high on the shoulders, weapon still in hand. Nothing about the pose is heroic, and that is exactly the point.
Underneath it the word light sits between quotation marks, because the people who named the branch were describing the vehicles and not the load.
Light describes the vehicles, never the load
Light infantry is the branch that arrives on foot. There is no armour to ride in at the start and no truck waiting at the end of the route, so everything the team needs for the next few days goes on the back: ammunition, water, radios and batteries, optics, a sleeping system, and whatever the task adds on top of that.
That is where the joke in this design sits. The word light was chosen to say the unit is not mechanised, and somewhere along the way it started to sound like a promise about weight. Anyone who has carried a full ruck through a long day knows how badly it reads, and it is why light is set between quotation marks on the print.
The name is the only light thing about it, and everyone who has carried it knows.
The design was drawn for that specific group: the grunts, the leg units, and anyone who respects doing it the hard way and on foot. It gets worn by the people who did the marching, and by the people who waited for them to come back in.

What people ask about this one
Where is the print, on the front or the back?
The illustration sits large across the back. On the front there is only the small Trace logo on the chest, so the design reads from behind, the way it was drawn.
Which colours and sizes does it come in?
The hoodie comes in olive, charcoal, black, white, heather grey. The t-shirt comes in olive, dark shadow, black, white, sand, heather grey. Sizes run from XS up to 3XL. The flag measures 90 by 150 centimetres.
Why is light between quotation marks?
Because the word describes the vehicles and not the load. The unit is not mechanised, which somewhere along the way started to sound like a promise about weight.
Heavy where it counts
The hoodie is a 270 gsm brushed fleece, so it sits closer to a proper winter layer than to the thin sweatshirts that go soft after one season. The t-shirt is 200 gsm cotton, thick enough that the print does not shine through from the inside.
Wash it at 30 degrees, inside out, and leave it out of the dryer. Do that and the print stays as sharp as the day it arrived.
