A controller on the ground is the reason a pilot several kilometres up knows which building matters and which one has civilians in it. Everything passes through one person, on one radio, usually while being shot at.
The design is drawn for the moment between the call and the arrival, when it is entirely down to whether the description was good enough.
The whole thing rests on one description
A jet cannot see what a soldier on the ground can see. The controller has to turn a chaotic scene into a set of words and coordinates precise enough that somebody moving at several hundred kilometres an hour can act on them and hit the right thing.
It is the highest stakes talking anyone does. Get the description right and it decides the fight. Get it wrong and the consequences do not have a version you can walk back. That is why the qualification is brutal and why the people who hold it are trusted the way they are.

This one gets worn by JTACs and forward air controllers, by aircrew who have worked with them, and by the infantry who have heard that voice on the net and known it was going to be fine.
Same fabric and cut under Airforce and Light Infantry, so sizing carries over one to one.

- 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester Brushed Fleece 270 gsm. This hoodie is true to size. It has a slightly baggy fit at the arms. Our model is 187cm and wears XL.
- T-shirt
- 100% Cotton. (Sports Grey: 90% Cotton / 10% Viscose) 200 gsm. Regular-fit. Our model is 185cm and wears size L. When in doubt between two sizes we recommend taking the larger size.
- Sizes
- XS to 3XL, in 7 colourways.
- Care
- Wash max 30°C. Wash inside out. To keep the best quality we do not recommend the tumble dryer..
- Delivery
- Around 3 to 5 working days to prepare, then a track and trace code. Worldwide, free from 75 euro.

What is a JTAC?
A Joint Terminal Attack Controller: the person on the ground who is qualified to direct aircraft onto a target. They are the link between what the infantry can see and what the aircraft can do.
