The only piece without a print
Everything else in the shop carries something on the back. A unit, a job, a joke that only the people who did it will get. Muscle Fit carries nothing at all except the mark on the chest, and that is the entire point of it.
There is nothing to read on this one. What people notice is the fit, and the fit only says something if you put the work in first.
Close through the chest and arms, narrow through the waist
A muscle fit is tapered where a normal tee just hangs. It sits close across the chest, the shoulders and the upper arms, and then pulls in through the waist instead of falling straight down. That is the whole difference, and it is the reason this one does not work as a loose shirt.
The fabric has stretch in it, which is why it follows the body instead of straining across it. It also means it goes back to shape after a wash rather than sagging at the shoulders, as long as it stays out of the tumble dryer.
Take one size down. That is not a suggestion.
The sizing is the one thing to get right, and it is the question we get most on this piece. Take at least one size down from whatever you normally wear. The model in these photos is 187 centimetres tall and is wearing a size L.
Do not carry your size over from our other shirts. Everything under Light Infantry or Set the Standard is a regular cut that hangs straight, so your usual size there will be too big here.

Where is the print, on the front or the back?
There is no print on this one, on the front or the back. The only mark is the small Trace logo on the chest, and leaving the rest empty is deliberate.

No. Everything else in the shop is a regular cut that hangs straight from the shoulders. This one is tapered through the chest, the arms and the waist, so it fits and sizes completely differently.
Is the longsleeve the same cut?
Yes, the same taper through the body, with the sleeve running the full length of the arm. Same sizing advice, same fabric, same single black colourway.
Built to hold its shape
This is a 92% polyester and 8% spandex blend rather than a plain cotton jersey. That is what lets it sit close without pulling across the chest, and what makes it snap back instead of stretching out at the seams.
Thirty degrees, inside out, no tumble dryer. Heat is what kills the stretch, and once that is gone it does not come back.
