Products and prices
All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, where they apply, are shown before you complete your order. We make every effort to display product colours and details accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your screen displays colours exactly. Product images are for illustration.
Orders and contract
A contract of sale is formed once we accept your order and send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, for example in the event of an obvious pricing error or if a product is unavailable. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a full refund.
Payment
Payment is processed through our payment provider Mollie at the time of ordering. We do not store your full payment card details.
Delivery
We aim to ship within the timeframe stated on the product page and at checkout. Delivery times are indicative. Risk of loss passes to you once the goods are delivered to you.
Right of withdrawal and returns
As a consumer you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Full details on how to withdraw, return an item and receive a refund are set out in our Refund and Return Policy.
Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you benefit from all mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
Liability
We provide our website and products with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for our statutory obligations towards consumers.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and any contract between us are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you have a concern or dispute, please first contact us at contact@thetrace.eu so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be submitted to the competent court of the district of Zeeland-West-Brabant, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law designates another court. This does not affect your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
Severability and waiver
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
